SSI Homes
Established
in 1976 by Joe and Maria Garvey, Sun Spots, Inc. (t/a SSI HOMES), has
become a Central Maryland leader in remodeling, room additions, and custom
homes. Joe and Maria retired in 2001 - we are very proud of our current
partners and staff.

Dave Garvey - President and Partner
Dave's entire professional career has been with SSI HOMES. Starting
out as an installer back in the 1980's, Dave purchased the company
from his father, Joe Garvey in 1995. With an uncompromising dedication
to quality and customer-service, Dave specializes in complex construction
challenges and oversees the entire production department. He enjoys
boating, fishing, and flying. He is currently working toward his instrument-pilot
rating. Dave and his wife of 23 years, Kim, along with their three
dogs reside in Queenstown. Their two sons attend Clemson University.

Bryan Levy - CEO and Partner
After a highly successful stint as General Manager of an award-winning
Andersen window firm, Bryan, a 6th generation Annapolitan, became
an equity partner with the company in 2005. Bryan brings his extensive
proven corporate management, sales, and marketing experience to the
company. Bryan also has a keen eye for design and specializes in custom
homes and rebuilds. Bryan is the President of the Bowen Foundation,
a local organization dedicated to improving the lives of families
with Autism. Bryan and his wife of 11 years, Tanya, along with their
two children reside in Annapolis. |

Chris Garvey - General Manager
Chris brings an extensive background in professional photography,
marketing, sales, and construction to the company. Chris handles all
phases of SSI HOMES' advertising, marketing, and branding. In addition,
Chris personally designs and sells remodeling projects and new homes
while overseeing the entire operation. Chris is the past President
of the Maryland Improvement Contractors Association, and is currently
a very active volunteer Board Member and Coach with Kent Island youth
sports. Chris and his wife of 18 years, Christine, reside on Kent
Island along their three children . |

Clark Chandler - Project Manager
Clark has over 25 years of experience in the construction industry
and has been a friend of the Garvey's for well over 30 years. Clark's
experience ranges from single homes through multi home subdivision
to custom homes. With SSI HOMES, he manages a variety of projects
from basic to highly complex. Clark enjoys cooking and boating on
the Severn River. Clark, his wife Kris, and their daughter are life-long
residents of Severna Park. |

Jeff Nickerson - Project Manager
Jeff has 24 years of experience in the construction industry and enjoys
taking on all kinds of projects. He is an active board member of Kent
Island Little League as well as Assistant Scout Master to Boy Scout
troop 1631. Jeff and his family moved to the Eastern Shore 13 years
ago. He enjoys spending time with his family and loves to hunt and
fish with his two sons. |

McAlister - Production Coordinator - A Severna Park native,
Meredith coordinates the daily operations of our busy production
office. She enjoys playing Rugby and coaching Softball.
Whitney Bourdelaise - Selections Coordinator - Whitney personally
guides our clients through the entire selection process while keeping
projects on budget. She has a background in home interiors and furniture.
She and her husband, Neil, reside in Severna Park.
Amanda (Dozie) Parmele - Assistant to CEO - Dozie is the
right hand to many people in our office. She assists with day-to-day
operations, production, and bookkeeping. A native of Greece, Dozie
and her husband, Mike, reside in Annapolis.
